In Kindergarten, our students combine science and reading to learn all about plants. By adding food coloring to a plant's water, students observe how plants absorb and grow as they watch the color move from stem to petals.
York Prep's Band of Revolution competed in the 1A Upper State Marching Band Championships this past Saturday, finishing 9th in South Carolina. On Friday, the High School welcomed Dr. Dustin Hoffman, Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in English at Winthrop University. The class discussed literature, writing, and listened to helpful insights on preparing for college. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and time!
Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, Middle School Spanish and Art students studied pieces of Mexican culture and created an ofrenda honoring El Día de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday that takes place the 1st and 2nd of November.
