Today, many of our 11th and 12th graders are starting their spring dual enrollment classes with York Technical College, Winthrop University, and the USC Lancaster. Dual enrollment allows students to earn credits toward technical certifications and associate degrees, giving them a head start on their individual educational pathways!

Ms. Montgomery's Kindergarten class was filled with excitement today as they welcomed a special Mystery Reader! Laney, a fourth grader who once sat in their seats, returned to share "How to Catch Santa" with her former teacher and the class, which included her little sister, Georgia. Mad City Money is an outstanding program offered by Founders Federal Credit Union that provides students with a "game of life" experience! High school students in our Personal Finance and Workplace Communication classes received a fictional life profile that included details such as occupation, salary, debt, and family relationships and had to create a budget using this information. What an awesome hands-on experience for our students preparing them with "the knowledge, skills, character, and determination necessary to excel in their chosen post-secondary pursuits and in life." In Pathways Exploration, students dedicated their efforts to completing various service projects. They created bulletin boards to promote kindness throughout the school, organized a trash pickup on campus, and packaged 120 snack bags to donate to the Pathways Community Center for the homeless. Wonderful job making an impact!

In STEAM Exploration, students had a fantastic time learning design skills using a CAD program. They got creative and crafted their very own keychain designs, which they then brought to life using York Prep's new Bambu Lab 3D Printers. The students were amazed to see their ideas turn into real, tangible creations!
