Congratulations to York Prep Senior, Sarah Margaret Porter who has been admitted into Duke University through their Early Decision application process. Over 5,000 students applied for Early Decision and approximately 16% were selected. Congratulations Sarah Margaret!
Families, staff and our community are invited to join us for the 2nd Annual Patriot 5K Scholarship Run/Walk on Saturday, January 23, 2021 on the York Prep campus. Funds raised from this socially distanced race will contribute to a Scholarship Fund awarded to a 2021 graduate.

Spirit Wear Update: Order Pickup Information
- If you ordered York Prep Spirit Wear by the 12/4 deadline, it will be available for pickup on Thursday, 12/17 from 2:00-4:00 pm and Friday, 12/18 from 7:30 am- 1:00 pm at the Student Union building. Please contact spiritwear@yorkprepsc.org with questions.
- Missed ordering last month? Our Spirit Wear Store is always open at https://www.ypaonlinestore.org. Orders received by the 5th of each month will be available for pickup at the Student Union by the 20th.
12/15: Time update for today's games. JV- 5:00 pm, Varsity Girls- 6:30 pm, Varsity Boys- 8:00 pm.
Learning about force and motion, Ms. Mary Cathryn Manley's 5th grade built a protective enclosure for an egg. The students then dropped the egg inside the enclosure from the top step of the bleachers. Some eggs survived the fall and some did not... but the students had fun learning either way.

The National Honors Society would also like to invite all students to help them with a “supply drive” for Safe Passage, Inc.. Safe Passage is a woman and children’s shelter in Rock Hill. They are in need of cleaning supplies, towels, paper plates and plastic utensils, paper towels, Lysol, wipes, and laundry detergent. Please bring supplies to Dr. Gallman, Mrs. Lang or Mrs. Estes at the front desk at the High School building through December 15th.

Gate/Concession Changes: Gate prices will be $8 for adults and $6 for students. York Prep will be selling Winter/Spring Sports Season Passes for $60/individual pass or $250/family of 5 pass. These passes will be available for purchase at the gate. York Prep will be accepting debit/credit card payments at the gate and at the concession stand. There will be a service fee.
