Due to potential high winds and road flooding, York Preparatory Academy will have a virtual learning day on Friday, 9/30/22. All after-school activities including athletics, Marching Band, and Patriot's Promise are canceled. Stay safe and have a good weekend!
On Saturday, York Prep's Band of Revolution competed in the Laurens Invitational Marching Band Competition. They won 1st Place Overall in class 1A, Best Color Guard, and Best Percussion!!! We couldn't be prouder of our Patriots! Congratulations!!!!

Please join us in congratulating Alina McDonald who placed 1st in the 2022 NACAC Open Championships on Friday! Coach McDonald has competed in pole vault on the collegiate, international, and Olympic levels. A graduate of Winthrop University, Coach McDonald joined York Prep as a Certified Athletic Trainer and teaches Sports Medicine at YPA High School. Part of the Athletic Administration, Coach McDonald is equipping students to succeed in the collegiate level and beyond.

York Prep Middle School's MATHCOUNTS team had an onsite field trip yesterday with the Clemson Youth Learning Institute. Students piloted Robomasters in games and challenges learning more about robot technology. Interested 6th-8th grade students will have the opportunity to join our Middle School MATHCOUNTS team this fall.

Spring Break Is Almost Here!!! Reminder- tomorrow is a half day with K-4th dismissing at 11:30 am and 5th-12th dismissing at 12:00 pm. There is no lunch served on half days and there is no Patriot's Promise After School Care. All students should be picked up within 30 minutes following dismissal. We wish our York Prep family a fun and safe break!
