Announcement 9/8/20: York Prep is pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has granted approval for York Prep to participate in the meal program through December 31, 2020 or until available funding runs out. That means that all students will be eligible to receive FREE breakfast and lunch until December 31, 2020 or while funding is available. Free breakfast and lunch will be available on campus starting Wednesday, 9/09/20.

York Preparatory Academy will begin taking nominations for the YPA Board of Directors today, 8/25/20 and will continue to accept nominations until Friday, September 4, 2020. Board Elections will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 utilizing a web-based voting system. Voting details will be provided closer to the election date.To nominate a person for the board, please send the nominee's name, email address and phone number to the Board Election Committee at brian.myrup@yorkprepsc.org.
Please note: There would also be a mandatory pre-election board training for all nominees on Saturday, September 19. This full day training will be offered on campus and virtually and is required as a prerequisite to being on the ballot.

Great schools exist because of great teachers! Our Kindergarten teachers are hard at work creating a positive fun environment that lays a firm academic foundation for our students. Ms. Caston commented, "Collaboration with our team has been a crucial part of Virtual Learning in Kindergarten. Even though the beginning of the school year has been quite different than a typical start, we are enjoying getting to know our new students! We are looking forward to a great year!"
