Congratulations to York Prep Cross Country for their results at the Central High School race! Our girls team took 1ST PLACE with Tristan-Grace Carney winning 2nd place, Sara Grace Melton winning 5th, Gracee Nelson winning 7th, and Nevaeh Farmer winning 10th. Our boys team took 4th place with runner, Alex Fogle winning 10th place and finishing with a new personal record. Did you know it takes approximately 12 hours a week for 3 years to learn an instrument? That means by the time our students join Marching Band, they have already spent over 1,800 HOURS practicing! Attention Families: York Prep has been made aware there has been a traffic accident involving a telephone pole on Eastview Road which is impeding traffic. This accident occurred North of the school on Eastview Road coming from Hwy 5. Dismissal may be slower than normal and families might want to plan for an alternate route.
