All students planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university should complete the FAFSA form, regardless of family income. Completing this form is necessary to be considered for federal, state, and school financial aid, including grants, loans, and work-study programs. It is also required for eligibility for South Carolina scholarships such as LIFE, HOPE, and Palmetto Fellows.
