Patriot Days is a school-wide celebration ending with our Patriot Fun Run and Color Run. York Prep’s main fundraiser of the year, family and friends support our school by collecting run pledges and then attend to cheer on their student. Last year, York Prep raised over $150,000.00 in pledges! This year, York Prep will be raising funds for outdoor lighting for our band and athletic fields, the purchase of a new activity minibus, and a new band trailer.
How Can Your Family Participate?
1) Collect Pledges
- Register your student at MYBOOSTER.COM and contact debi.smith@yorkprepsc.org with questions.
- Parents can help connect students to sponsors by sharing their pledge link on Facebook, through email, or even a text.
- Sponsors can enter and pay for those pledges online through your student’s pledge link.
- Students receive fun prizes for pledges collected. Fun Run Prizes/Color Run Prizes
2) Corporate Matching
Did you know that corporate matching gifts and business donations count as pledges for the Fun Run? This is a GREAT way to help us reach our goal! Help Our School in 3 Easy Steps:
- Reach out to friends and family with businesses.
- Enter the pledge on MYBOOSTER.COM. Businesses can even put in a link to their website to be displayed on the Business Leader Board!
- Thank them for their support!
3) Dress Up Days
Get in the spirit by participating in our dress up days at the Elementary, Middle and High School.
- Tuesday, March 12th: Wacky Tacky Day
- Wednesday, March 13th: Jersey Day
- Thursday, March 14th: Crazy Sock Day
- Friday, March 15th: Hat Day
- Monday, March 18th: Career- Dress for your future!
- Tuesday, March 19th: College Day
- Wednesday, March 20th: Tie-Dye Day
- Thursday, March 21st: Patriot Day Wear - Wear YPA gear or school colors
- Friday, March 22nd: Neon Day
4) Cheer On Our Students At The Fun Run and Color Run
Families are welcome to come and cheer on their student at the Fun Run and Color Run!
March 21st:
- 8:30 am: 3rd & 4th Grade Fun Run
- 9:30 am: 1st & 2nd Grade Fun Run
- 10:30 am: Kindergarten Fun Run
- 2:00 pm: High School Color Run
March 22nd:
- 9:00 am: 5th Grade Color Run
- 9:45 am: 6th Grade Color Run
- 10:30 am: 8th Grade Color Run
- 11:15 am: 7th Grade Color Run
