York Preparatory Academy, a National Blue Ribbon Award-winning public charter school in Rock Hill, is excited to announce the hiring of Taylor Lindsay as the Athletic Director and Caitlin O'Mara as the Athletic Trainer.

Taylor Lindsay, the new Athletic Director, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Pfeiffer University and a Master of Business Administration from Berry College. During her time at Pfeiffer University, she played collegiate tennis for four years, helping her team secure a Conference Championship. While pursuing her graduate studies at Berry College, she served as the Graduate Assistant Tennis Coach. In 2021, she joined Johnson & Wales University-Charlotte as the Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach. Passionate about athletics, she believes in developing student-athletes both on and off the court. Her coaching philosophy, "always do the little things the right way," reflects her commitment to excellence, which she plans to bring to her role as Athletic Director.

Caitlin O'Mara, the new Athletic Trainer, holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from SUNY Cortland and a Master of Science in Advanced Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina. Most recently, she served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Rock Hill High School. Coach O'Mara brings extensive experience in athletic training, including work with NCAA Division I and II programs, outpatient clinical settings, and high school athletics. Her expertise includes developing and implementing sports medicine programs, emergency preparedness planning, and policy creation.
