Friday Dismissal Schedule- No Patriots Promise
Please be aware of an important schedule change for Monday, April 8, 2024. Due to the upcoming solar eclipse and our commitment to student and staff safety, York Prep will dismiss early on Monday, 4/8/24 to avoid having families traveling during peak eclipse times. On Monday, 4/8/24, York Prep will operate on Friday schedule with K-4 dismissing at 1:00 pm, 5-8 dismissing at 1:20 pm, and 9-12 dismissing at 1:32 pm. Patriots Promise will be canceled on Monday, 4/8/24. We recognize that this is an inconvenience for families and appreciate your support as we work together to keep our students and staff safe.

Kindergarten Meeting for 2024/25 families
We invite our 2024/25 Kindergarten families to a Kindergarten meeting on Friday, April 19th at 2:00 pm at the Athletic Field House conference room. York Prep has partnered with Waterford, a national leader in early learning to provide a literacy program for preschool students to use in the months leading up to Kindergarten! Schools around the country who have implemented this program report that their students are far more prepared for Kindergarten! At this meeting, you will receive information on accessing the Waterford program, see a plan of success for your student, meet YPA staff, and get to ask questions. Board Nominee Training
York Prep is currently taking nominations for the YPA Board of Directors. The deadline to submit a nominations is Friday, 3/29/24. To nominate a person for the board, please email the nominee's name, email address and phone number to elections@yorkprepsc.org. Nominees will be required to complete a drug and background screening. There will also be a mandatory pre-election board training for all nominees in on Saturday, April 20 from 8 am- 12pm in the Athletic Field House Conference Room as a prerequisite to being on the ballot. Board Elections will be held on Tuesday, 5/21/24 utilizing a web-based voting system.
