York Preparatory Academy has successfully completed our 2025-26 Enrollment Lottery. Notifications of the lottery results will be emailed to families by Thursday, 2/27/25 at 3:30 pm. A big shoutout to our amazing Varsity athletic teams for their incredible performances this weekend! The Varsity Boys Basketball team battled hard but narrowly lost by just one point in the second round of the state playoffs. Our Boys Varsity and Girls Varsity Soccer teams had a fantastic time in their tournaments, winning against some great teams from around the state. We couldn’t be prouder of our athletes for showcasing their talent and sportsmanship both on and off the field and court!

Today, many of our 11th and 12th graders are starting their spring dual enrollment classes with York Technical College, Winthrop University, and the USC Lancaster. Dual enrollment allows students to earn credits toward technical certifications and associate degrees, giving them a head start on their individual educational pathways!

Mad City Money is an outstanding program offered by Founders Federal Credit Union that provides students with a "game of life" experience! High school students in our Personal Finance and Workplace Communication classes received a fictional life profile that included details such as occupation, salary, debt, and family relationships and had to create a budget using this information. What an awesome hands-on experience for our students preparing them with "the knowledge, skills, character, and determination necessary to excel in their chosen post-secondary pursuits and in life."
