York Prep is excited to welcome our new Middle School Band Teacher and Assistant Marching Band Director, Mr. Anthony McCall!
Mr. Anthony McCall originates from Latta, SC and is a graduate of Charleston Southern University where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Instrumental Music Education. At Charleston Southern University, he performed with the CSU Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Percussion and Steel Pan Ensemble, and Sixth Man Pep Band. In addition, Mr. McCall served as tenor captain and Drum Major for the Pride of the Lowcountry Marching Bucs. Mr. McCall studied with Dr. Marshall Forrester, Dr. Nicholas Holland, and John Wilmarth. Mr. McCall has performed at the Intercollegiate Honor Band at the SCMEA Music Conference, Piccolo Spoleto Festival, John F. Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Mid-European Music Festival in Schladming, Austria.
